How I fell in love with India

India, the magic land from my childhood book Indian tales. I used to look through it and admire the detailed pictures of the princesses and their princes, the ornate palaces and temples, the cute elephants...

India, the land of my favourite cuisine...so vibrant with colours, smells, tastes and textures, hot and fiery, never allowing any other taste to win it over.

India , the land so rich of colours and feelings and textures, just like the fabrics I love. I once heard an Indian lady saying that God wanted Indian women to dress so colourfully because that way he knew that they were happy!

India, the home land of a very dear friend...

And I went to India and I fell in love with her and I felt home...
Hundreds of images which excited my imagination, appealed to my deepest soul emotions, troubled my conscience, tickled my sense of humour, which I hoped I managed to lock in photos, so later I could have relived it over and over again.

Creating the  three albums Only in India 1,2,3 I will try to take you on a journey to real India.
